Assistant mgr not attending games

I am in blue square north division and am only allowed one assistant & one coach. I have my asst managing my reserve squad & coach has the youth. Before each game i look for ast mgr suggestion but there is no tab for it. there is also no feedback during the game by him. i guess with only 2 coaches doing training causes him not to attend games. any suggestions. i am no fan of the team talks feature and i wish i could get this solved.
