Strikers ratings to low??

Ive noticed (and it seems others have to) that strikers seem to get rated very unfairly during a game. A recent boring 1-0 i played against Everton in which none of my team (Man City) played exactly brilliantly is a prime example.

Dario Srna got rated as a 7.2 for the match, he completed about 12 passes from 14 (woeful) and only one was a key pass, he didnt play badly but he was hardly on form, where as Jo also had a quiet game up front pretty much same stats as Srna except he covered less ground and he got rated 5.8??

The more ive played the more ive noticed that unless a striker gets an assist or has decent shots on target he barely ever gets rated above 6.5 (and thats if hes lucky) which is stupid, IRL players like Rooney and Tevez for Utd often times dont score or even directly set up scoring attempts but overall they contribute hugely to the team, it seems in FM09 the formula for rating strikers seems overly skewed toward only being an out-an-out goalscorer.

Also on a related note has anyone ever seen a player get an 8 or above rating??

I think this is quite well known already.

I've had a rating of 8 or more if the player scores 2 or 3 goals
