Patch problem

Hi I am running windows vista and everytime I download the patch and attempt to run it either has a problem or I dont have an approiprate program to run it with anyone know how to help me?

Where are you downloading from?

What format does the patch come in? I downloaded it as an exe file and had no problems running it but if you're downloading from somewhere that has zipped the patch you will need the correct zip programme to unzip the patch first.

I have downloaded the patch from 4 different sites, I have winrar so unzippin should be fine

I'd suggest trying Firefox if IE is giving you that message. It's well worth the switch, I have used Firefox for ages now with zero problems.

Sorry if this is obvious but are you unzipping/extracting the file first before attempting to install?

When prompted save the file to disk rather than running straight off. The original problem sounds a lot like you downloaded the .dmg Mac patch - all the patches for each version are listed at www.lespacio.com/fm2009.php - make sure you select the right one and save it to disk and then run it rather than clicking run
