Application Error

Hi, i posted the following earlier but nobody has replied

i started a new game up as Colorado Rapids in the MLS as i felt like i wanted a change, it has been ok but just tryed to load the game up and half way through it shuts down and says Application Error - A serious error was encountered and the application will close.

Just wanted to no if their is away around this or will i have to start a brand new game.

Plus do any of you make back up copys of your games.

Can anybody help me out, it would be appreciated
