Mid game tactical changes? Are you Rafa or Sven?

Recommended Posts

Do any of you find that you're torn between keeping things the same when you go a goal up or maybe making things a little more defensive to protect your lead? Every time i don't protect a one goal lead I tend to regret it when I let one in. But everytime I do change our mentality to a less attacking set up we tend to let one in anyway. So what should I do, sit there passively and then blame myself for not doing anything or regret tinkering too much. Just wanted to know what most of you guys prefer to do. Take the Sven approach (sit quietly in the dugout for 90 minutes) or the Rafa approach (tactical changes like you're playing a game of chess)

I find that I constantly fiddle with tactics, often for no real reason. I'm a bit hooked on finding good tactics so even if all is well and I'm up 2-0 at half time I'll occasionally do a complete overhaul just out of curiosity
