Submit my team to go to match..and my game freezes!

Afternoon,

I've been trying to run football manager for the past week and i just cant past a certain section of the game. I've got to the point where I submit my team for a match..i press submit team click yes and then i just get no response from my game at all! (the football symbol just hovering about)

i'm becoming a little frustrated (and stressed!) with this i just want to play the game!

Any help would be much appreciated

Have you tried playing in windowed mode? It usually fixes the freezing problem.

If the option to play windowed mode is greyed out, you can use this method (this one doesn't work for everyone either for some reason):

1. Right click on the FM09 icon on your desktop & click properties.

2. In the target field, add -windowed -small_screen at the end of the target, with a space between the orginal target & -windowed -small_screen.

3. Click ok & you should be able to play in windowed mode next time you run FM09

Also, you should probably have FM09 off when doing this.

I was having the same problem but playing in windowed mode has solved it. Thankfully I won't have to play that exact same pre-season week another time now
