Fix for flashing screen problem

Some people have been experiencing problems when playing the game on laptops with intel graphics vista and, i have the x3100.

while playing the screen flashes black quite often and can be very annoying when playing the game

i think i have found a solution which almost iradicates the problem (still some times flashes but nowhere near as much)

1. download the latest driver from the intel website http://downloadcenter.intel.com/

2. install the driver (remember to restart your computer after it)

3. on your desktop, right click, then click graphics properties.

4. click display settings, > power settings > then move the slider to disable power saving > click ok > then ok again.

5. now load football manager and the instances of the problem occuring should be greatly reduced.

p.s. the x3100 driver is listed as the intel 965 chipset family

Do people using other graphics chips get the same problem ??

Yes. I am facing the same problem with my Nvidia GeForce 9400 GT. It's not a new graphics card but I have all the updated drivers.
