I have not gone back since I havent bought FM2009 somethin I will once it reaches final patch status. Never got 2008 due to all the bad reports. There's no official updated transfers patch but thereare others around - Do a google search for "FM Weegie", that's probably the best database update around. trekman Posted November 24, 2008 Share Posted November 24, 2008 Sticking with FM2009. Installed the patch and its been fine for me. All the problems seem to be related to steam and using this as an authentication option. I have a disk and authenticated using the unilok option and it was fine. Quite frankly I have no sympathy for people who want to use steam. Many people on this forum warned that using this would be trouble and its turned out this way.
