Hmmm, well I'm hoping that you were just lucky, or that if there ARE that many high potential players, that they don't all reach their potential.

I'd hope there were more players with high potential than FM08, but of -8 , -9, -10 variety rather than the fixed type. I haven't checked in my current game, but if this is a sign of things to come I'm happy with the improvements.

Out of the 14 players, 3 were bought from other teams, the rest are youth team products.

The regens overall (around the world) are also great, huge improvement from previous FMs.

ye i've found that too. im in my 5th season and 4 players of my starting line up are regens (im with fulham )

Regens can't have minus potential. Once the game starts no player has minus potential. Minus potentials mean that on start up, the player will be given a PA within that range. With regens, they are given a potential at random- well, not quite random, but it's not "130-160", it's 154 or something.

I'm not too surprised, to be honest. Even me as Carshalton in the Blue Square South, with a pants Ass Man gives me ratings of 5* - 7* of about 75% of my promoted youth players.

From the regens I haev seen in my game, just half season in (aged 15) and on this site, they look too good. Im not complaining though, FM07 regens were a bit too good. I never had much problems with FM08 ones either.

Thats pretty good, you give them much game time. I brought in heaps of kids from the Spanish League that I poached from the big teams for free.
