Game freezing before a match?

Is it just me or has this happened to anyone else? I want to see if its my PC or FM, my PC is top spec and don't expect it to be any isue struggling to run the game. Very annoying, especially when you wait a long time for a match then it freezes.

Yes this is a known issue with some people's games. Have you tried playing in windowed mode? This usually fixes the problem.

Here's how you play in windowed mode:

1. Go into display & sound preferences.

2. In window settings, select "windowed" as your display mode.

On some computers, the windowed mode option in display & sound preferences is greyed out, so here's an alternative method:

1. Right-click the FM09 icon on your desktop.

2. Click properties.

3. In the target box, add -windowed -small_screen at the end of your target, without making any other changes to the target. Also, make sure that there's a space between the original target & the bit that I told you to add on.

You should probably have FM09 switched off while using this method of changing to windowed mode.
