i have this card and got it to work by doing this

putting my hardware accelleration setting to zero.

Start-control panel-display-settings-advanced-troubleshoot-turn slider to none-make sure box is ticked

also try updating your graphics card to the 2008 driver. and untick 256 colour mode if you have that ticked. and make sure your screen refresh rate is at the right hertz for your screen resouloution

I have a SiS card and it works fine without this
