TractorBoy
Have had a look in the forums but can't find anything on this so apologies if this has been raised before. I have a couple of computers at home switch between them with the same save game. I am also getting a new one next week. I would like to transfer my existing save games from my current machine to the new one when it arrives to continue my progress. This isnt simply copying the FM folders on one machine and saving them in the respective folder on the new machine is it?? Thanks
KUBI
You have to copy the saved game on a disk or memory stick. The saved game is located: mydocuments/sportsinteractive/footballmanager2009/games Now put it in the same directory of the other computer.

Thanks a lot, its as i thought then. This did work in previous incarnations of the game, the only thing that didnt appear to transfer sucessfully were Hall of Fame details etc.. I just wondered if save games were locked to a specific license seat or something.
1.zer0
i do this all the time. you dont need to keep transferring files and folders. just put the actual save game file on a usb mem stick and load/save straight from it.
