Is it not possible to queue up assignments for your scouts like you could in fm 08?

really? how do you do that?

You just keep adding different regions/nations. The subsequent ones you add will show as pending.

I think if you assign them to a competition then you cannot queue up anymore countries after that. If you simply start with 1 country you should be able to add more without an issue.

well that's odd. i want to queue up regions ie one scouting central europe then eastern europe etc. so i assign the scout to central europe and go to add another assignment, but now i only have the choice between next opposition or competition. that cant be right surely?

Just checked and indeed it seems you can now only queue up Countries and not Regions.

hmmm, well that sucks. i really liked that in fm 08. I am guessing that when you scouted regions, you scouted more countries than are available to individually scout?

Maybe, I'm playing lower league so that's an advanced feature for me

But maybe the region scouting takes a lot longer than before rather than a quick whip round. Keep an eye on it and let me know

well it takes way longer to scout a region than it did before. one season down and they are still scouting the same regions.

Can anyone from SI confirm/deny this? Is it a bug or a feature change?

I haven't tried, but perhaps if you de-select 'roaming' you could still queue the regions? Would make a bit sense to me.

Sorry haven't noticed the roaming option before, and it's a change from FM08 that wasn't discussed or documented anywhere, hence my confusion.

This could be more clearly explained in the manual for future editions.
