OLLMEISTER1 Posted November 20, 2008 Share Posted November 20, 2008 feel they pay too much attention to coach and scout reports? i mean i allways find myself not signing players or playing players i like in real life who i believe are great players but si dont give them good enough stats etc. therefore i allways think if i play or sign a certain player who has had a bad scout or coach report they wont have the same effects as they do in real life? i often sign or play a player who has great stats but i dont feel comfortable with. anyone else like me? or am i just a loner? lol Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The scout reports (providing you have decent scouts) are a good indication of whether someone is any good or not. I spend hours of scouting, stat watching and analysing before I sign someone, not just a quick look at stats or "he's good IRL" Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

tottenham2k7 Posted November 20, 2008 Share Posted November 20, 2008 I dont trust the coach reports at all for youth team players beause usually they tell me their going to be crud and to offload..but using FM scout towards the end of my FM08 days i realised this was not the case all the time and i could've saved myself many great players!!
