View Full Version : How do you get your own Manager picture into the game?
Simple. Add yourself as a new manager and exit the wizard, do it the other way it offers you, then top right corner of screen you can select a photo of yourself. DONE
Balls. Already started a game - that bloody wizard!
Cheers mate. Do you (or anyone) know how I could put one in though now I have already started?
create a 180x180 cut-out picture of yourself with a transparent background and place it in the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\[UserName]\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\graphics\players\other (XP)
C:\Users\[UserName]\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\graphics\players\other (Vista)
then copy the following into a notepad file:
<!-- resource manager options -->
<!-- dont preload anything in this folder -->
<boolean id="preload" value="false"/>
<!-- turn off auto mapping -->
<boolean id="amap" value="false"/>
<!-- logo mappings -->
<!-- the following XML maps pictures inside this folder into other positions
in the resource system, which allows this folder to be dropped into any
place in the graphics folder and still have the game pick up the graphics
files from the correct places
<!-- Auto generated by fmXML -->
<record from="[FileName]" to="graphics/pictures/person/[UniqueID]/portrait"/>
and then save it as config.xml
Find the Unique ID of your manager by selecting the 'SHow Unique IDs' option in the preferences and then going to your maanger page.
Then just reload your skin and it should appear.
You don't need to start a new game
