Is the update installed?

I have a Mac and I applied the patch, chose the default folder (where I have FM2009 installed), and now when I look in that folder there is a new folder called Updates which seems to have all the extracted data from the patch in it.

However when I start the game and click on "Check for new version", the SI site still tells me a new version is available.

So have I applied the patch correctly? Any way of telling which version I'm running? I don't wanna start a new game till I'm 100% the patch is installed.
