connecting defense midfield and forwards

Just a quick one before anybody says it, i have read the tactics bible for 09.

Anyway here is my problem currently playing as Fulham, i cant even make a tactic to beat Scunthorpe.

I can make nice passing moves, however my defense midfield and forwards never seem like they are connecting to eachother and my assistant seems to agree that there are gaps between each.

Any ideas how i can make them connect and also how do you make people stop dewelling on the ball.

read TT&F 09. I had this problem and after readin that i tweaked my players mentality(defensive/attacking) and it sorted it out.

If you set your defenders to about 7/8/9 on the slider. one of your CM's at 9/10 one at 10/11/12 and your CF's at like 12/13/14 depending on attacking preference.

Do you know what im on about when I say the numbers? if you dont on the mentality slider 1 would equal ultra defensive, 10 is in the middle and 20 is all out attack,
