Patch Download

Sorry if this has been answered before!!

I have just brought a new laptop and I am not yet up and running on the internet. I have managed to get my FM09 up and running but am aware that I could do with installing the patch.

Is it possible to download the patch on another computer with internet access to a USB stick and then transfer the patch onto my laptop?:confused:

I would have thought you take your USB, stick it in your other computer and then run it.

The file you download will be an .exe file. Just copy that over to the USB stick. When the USB stick is in your other computer, all you need to do is run the exe file and follow the instructions.

Will the patch work on the game that I have already started or will it only work on new games?

It's save compatible unless you want the data updates ie Redknapp at Spurs. If thats the case, you will need to start a new game but bug fixes will mostly work for your save.
