corner cheats

i have tried out the corner cheat that i found on this forum. yet it doesn't seem to work for my team. i put corners specifically into the 6 yard box with at 1 player near post flick on, i player challenge gk, i player attack far post, with the rest either attacking both posts. in total there is always about 5, 6 players in the 6 yard box yet i rarely score from corners. my corner specialist has a rating for corners at anout 16, 17 while the others have a heading of about 18-20.

what is wrong???

that cheat is for fm08; and i assume u are talking about 09.

correct. but come to think about it, it didn't really work for me in 08.

my second top scorer in 08 was always my CD. in 50 games i'd get roughly 30-35 goals. So i assume it worked fine for me.

haven't found a way to consistently score in 09. however crossing to near post typically has the ball end up at one of my guys feet at the near post. Perhaps i can place a technically sound guy there.

In FM09 the norm appears to be about 7-10 goals a season.

Probably attack near post works better than flick on.

That cheat in FM08 was ace. Micah Richards scored more than the forwards!

disagree. I've played with weaker sides, such as leyton orient in 08. if you sign the right players, 17+ for the corners you will typically score much more with the "cheat" than in the prem. easily over 30.

I think in general, 20-25 is realistic in a season; depending on number of games.

The corner cheat works on FM 2009 with the following adaptions.

6 yard corners.

DC best header and jumping challenge GK.

DC again good heading and Jumping N.P.F on.

SC Best at heading and Jumping attack ball from deep.

SC other if 2 attackers used or AMC if only 1 attacker used must be good at shooting and heading Attack far post.

Wingers use short option with all other players lurk outside area.

At most you should have 3-4 players in the box for it to work. I currently have scored 28 League gaols and 12 of them are from corners.

Tordoya my DC as 3 gls in 12 games.

My AMC Howson as 5 from 8 games all from corners and Seb Abreu as scored 4 from corners so the only difference is FM 2008 the DC used to score loads but my goals have been shared around.

I must agree with rob. You have to tweak it around abit. I tried afew variations till i got it working. Its not really a cheat though... Just maximising your jumping ability and header ability. Iv seen afew definite chances go abegging.

i usually use near post flick on, corners set to near post. Ideally you want like a big striker figure with good strength and heading. On Fm08, i used Nicklas Bendtner and adebayor for this and it reaped wonders. i scored more than often from corners.

Will try it. But the score ratio looks more realistic than in 08.
