Processing Of Fixtures Question.

I have been playing FM2009 on my laptop at 1.61ghz, 2gb ram and 20gb free on my hard drive. I know I am running on fairly low spec but something as come to my attention.

Even when I amend the processing speed on my preferences to fastest it still processes fixtures really slow unlike 08 which was really fast.

I tried it running 4 leagues from 1 nation which was the English league and noticed whenever a cup or an event I wasn’t involved in I get the same problem.

Surely this should be similar to last years. Does anyone have any advice or is this a bug.

If not could someone possible advise me on the setup in preferences to get optimum performance on FM2009.

The rest of the game runs like a dream just the fixture and result processes.

FM 08 was much quicker. FM 09 is slower.

I know mate im just wondering if there is any info as to why,

I cant see it being anything to do with the 3d pitch because its after the games not during.
