Newgens

They turn out decent in the game. Nice one.

FM08 was rubbish as you knew they wouldnt turn out good, but, this year round, they turn out great. Some nice wonder kids coming through as well.

FM08 ? After 3 seasons you started to get good - very good newgens. Don't know what Youth Academy you had then. I averaged 1 super newgen every 2-3 seasons from my youth academy

Physically, they werent up to standard. They never progressed at all.

Have you noticed actual improvement since 09 alanricouk? I hope so.

I never had a major problem with quality of newgens in 08, except when it came to physical attributes.

There's a thread over on the good players and team forum showing screenies of some newgens.

Very encouraging this time around. Even physical attributes and penalty taking.

I really hope that the physical attributes of newgens are improved. Obviously, a lot was made of this issue over the last year and i don;t think it could have been ignored.

I'm still playing FM08 and I use ScoutGenie to check the new batch of regens every June 20th. There is definitely a progressive decline in the quantity and quality of regens/newgens coming through into the database, quite apart from my own youth academy set-up. SI did say they have addressed this for FM09, so I hope it's true.

Good stuff, how on earth have people got far enough to see how good newgens are though? I've only played one league game.
