SoopSandwich
okay I searched the forums and have followed the directions for creating a shortcut but the shortcut won't show on my desktop although if I look in the desktop folder it is in there. Any help or suggestions. I downloaded the game through Steam. Thanks

KUBI
Right click the fm.exe in the steam/steamapps/ directory and create a new shortcut on your desktop.
ScobieB
yeah just basically right click any icon that gets the game going and select shortcut to desktop. If your using vista you might want to tick 'run as administrator' in the properties too.
SoopSandwich
Thanks for the response but I have done that. When I drag the shortcut to my desktop the icon disappears but it is in my desktop folder. I don't know why it won't show?
Neil Dejyothin
Thanks for the response but I have done that. When I drag the shortcut to my desktop the icon disappears but it is in my desktop folder. I don't know why it won't show? From within the 'My games' tab in Steam, right-click on 'Football Manager 2009' and select 'Create desktop shortcut'.
