why does it come up as £9m when we signed him for free?

if that means my transfer budget was reduced by £9m im not happy

Yeah he invoked that new fifa rule and brought out his contract, and technically he therefore cost us nothing.

no im not looking at his value, it says on his history tab we paid £9m, just thought that SI should change that in the next patch and give us £9m more funds

undiscolosed fee though could also mean £0 , as it is undisclosed we will never know

But states from Newcastles point of view that they have paid a fee.

I hardly feel that Ashley would be the type of guy to be worried to let people know that he has spent money or not, and im sure if it was on a free then the club would no doubt let people know that.

They will have paid something tbh, because had he actually tested the webster clause, you would have heard a hell of alot more about it.

well its a fact that he brought out his contract, and its a fact mallorca have openly stated this and how they want compensation, so im guessing either we payed them something outside of the courts, or they are still pursuing a "fee"

Just caught up on SSN site, and that confirms that not only did Newcastle agree and settle at an £8million fee after Jonas made himself a free agent, they also paid an initial fee to Mallorca when the transfer went thru.

The likelyhood being that would all add up to 9million, therefore the transfer value history.

Keep in mind i had to trawl through the web to find that info... not wikipedia heh
