wgillan Posted November 18, 2008 Share Posted November 18, 2008 Loaded FM09 on a set running XP home. It would not start automatically. Tried to start the game using the FMEXE shortcut on desk top. Get the same error message "FM EXE has encountered a problem sorry for any inconvenience (sorry my a**se). Anyway looking at the know issue threads I tried to download .net but when installing got an error message stating that it could not install as it is incompatible with previous version. Tried it from 2 sites and it get half way through then I get an error message stating that this file cannot be downloaded. Installed the direct x file but game will still not start. Any other ideas?
