can someone tell me whether the reason why football manager 2009 runs so so so so slow and sluggish on my computer is because its crap? I only play small database with one league!

If this is the reason why its running so slow, I am going to buy a new laptop for work this week what is recommended to run FM 2009 smoothly and fast?

It is the PC.

With FM09, laptops aren't officially supported.

I'll let others reccomend a mobile graphics card, but you certainly need 2GB RAM if possible (Ram's cheap now so no reason not to), and the fastest processor you can afford:P

Its the processor more than anything else by the looks of it - single core = struggle.
