Where is the crowd?!?!?!?

I thought the full game had crowds? Where are they?

Don't tell me SI was too lazy to add some sort of crowd? Matches have no atmosphere, feels like a kick in the park.

There was never anything mentioned about crowds as far as I am aware. Besides, the 3D view is meant to be used as an analytical tool for your tactics.

When did anyone state that the full game would have crowds?

I too am happy to use the 3D as it is for now. I'm sure crowds will be added in versions to come, but for now I feel the current 3D is a good first step.

i binned the staduim completed. unticked it from the preferences. I am more interested in my team that the stadia.

Crowds actually worry me. I mean, rendering a match in 3D should be reasonably straightforward, but how on Earth do you render a 3D crowd?! I know there are games that have them, but they always look rubbish.

I too agree with you on this point. This is only a start and I would recommend SI to go slow and steady to improve the 3D view in future versions of this wonderful simulation game. Cheers!

lol, i remember not that long ago can't mind if it was fifa or pro evo but the crowd were flat with just some faces pained on. Crowds do look rubbish and do people pay attention to them anyway?

I agree, the crowds on Fifa 09 are terrible. PES 2009 crowds are half decent, mind.

I remember for a season while Highbury was being redeveloped that one of the stands had a facade with the 'crowd' painted on!

Anything better then pink backgrounds. Even small circles that look like faces at least. At the moment it looks like they are playing middle of nowhere.

I unticked the box for stadia too as I want to focus on the pitch not what the crowd look like. I think for future years SI should totally do away with the stadia as IMO it adds nothing to the game and focus on improving the 3D engine.
