Corners?

What's the beef with the corners in FM09?

Is it just my team or do a lot of corners seems to float back out behind the goal direct from the corner?

Starting to annoy me I must say.

Take your player off "near post flick-on" as your corner taker may be aiming for him. That should also give you a more varied corner routine. In fact, vacate the near post altogether unless you want to "attack" it. Worked for me, anyway.

Also, in team tactics, set the "aim corner" to something other than mixed, eg, 6-yard box or short corner.

Far too many corners go directly behind for a goal kick. Infuriating in stoppage time when you're chasing a lead!
