Player on loan interaction (missing)

Why isn't it possible to interact with a player you have on loan? I can't praise/criticise him for his performances...

I think that's something that should be fixed!

this has been like that for several versions. This was something I hoped to see in FM 09 but it's simply not implemented... It is also true for players from your team that you send out on loan

Absolutely.

This is an area ripe for development, and I've been surprised every version when it hasn't been expanded.

If nothing else, a player in at my team for a full-season loan, I ought to be able to give him the same kind of Player Interactions that I can give my own players: praising his performances, criticising his performances, telling him I'm going to give him a rest.

It would also be extremely valuable if I could set up tutoring links - possibly only "unlocked" if he is scheduled to be at the club long enough for a tutoring session to complete, but I should definitely be able to have a veteran on-loan tutor my youth, or have my veterans tutor on-loan youths.

Beyond that, you could really grow that field of interaction with comments like:

"If he keeps playing like this, he can expect a place in our squad when he comes back."

"Is playing above expectations."

"Is showing a lot of promise." (Youth at lower-division club)

"Is doing an average job."

"Is playing a bit within himself."

"If this is how he performs, he can expect to be placed on the transfer list when he comes back."

"Suggest that <Stadium> might be a good permanent home for him."

"Threaten to recall him if he is not given more starting opportunities."

"Threaten to recall him if he is not given more first-team action."

"Ask if he wants to be recalled."

"Request that <Manager> set up a tutoring link between <Player1> and <Player2>"

(Player in on loan to my club)

"Has really impressed and I would like to make the move permanent."

"Has really impressed and I would like to renew the loan for next season."
