Unresponsive Data Editor

Hi All, not sure if this is the right place to post this, if not please tell me where to post this and it can be deleted... ok then now the question.

I have installed Fm2009 onto my PC and i have also loaded the patch.

I am trying to access the data editor so i can make Arsene Wenger the Assistant Manager at Arsenal and Pat Rice the Youth Team Manager so I can become the Top Dog at Arsenal lol but the Data editor program will not load,

It tells me I need to Re-Install.

Now i have been playing the game and im at the start of Novermber and doing very well. Is their anyway i can keep my save game but re-install the game so that the data editor works?

Also has anybody else had this problem and do they have a solution/fix

p.s Anybody got an update on FMScout2009? Would love it if that was released on time this year!!!
