baker.simon
I have a young lad who has just joined my under 18's. His coach report says he "has the potential to be one of the best players of his generation". I have never been one for nurturing talent, basically because on past FM's it hasn't been worth it, but i really fancy getting into now! Has anyone any suggestions as to how to train/nurture him so he turns into what the coaches reckon? For info, he is a right attacking midfielder. Thanks in advance
DaLoneGun
Having a veteran in the same position with similar skill sets usually work as well as sending him on loan to clubs where he can get playing time. Also asking the player to learn tricks within in his skill set is benefical
mtkphoenix83
also...get one of your senior squad (preferably most experienced in same position) to TUTOR him and keep playing him alongside his TUTOR from time to time in Carling Cup games, etc... for instance..I have John Terry tutoring young Jack Saville...its going really well and they play with each other in DC in less-important games and in Carling Cup games too! one peice of advice...as soon as this young player is off his 'youth contract', get them training with your 1st team/reserves!!
