Fm 07/...08 or ..09?!

Which one does everyone think was the best game?

Id go for FM 07 out of the last three, i had some brilliant long games on them, 08 i never seemed to get into.

Also, would you say 08 and 09 is more difficult than 07? its what ive found

08 was best, got to 2016 with everton then 2017 with wolves before 09 came out

07 was the best for me so far. FM08 was just annoying had to many problems, and for 09 i still have'nt got over the DRM issues ****ed me off a treat lol

09 all the way, can't remember the last time I had so much fun playing a FM.

Didn't like FM08, think FM09 is going to overtake FM07 as my favourite though !

Outside of these three I enjoyed CM01/02 and CM03/04 the most (the latter because of my success with Exeter more than the game itself)

I've only played the FM09 demo, so can't really judge, but I much preferred FM08 than FM09. FM08 is third only to CM00/01 (best of the lot) and CM97/98 (2nd best of the lot) in my opinion. In terms of addictability, that is.

i liked the last one, 01/02 before cm4 was my favourite of all time. followed by 98/99 and first fm.

FM08 for me.....patched up with 8.0.1 (8.0.2 was just awful especially the 'corner bug'). Still playing it now, in the year 2018 and going strong with my Happy Valley team. Then FM07, managed to get to 2030 with Burton and finally FM09 (which i've returned as it's just no where near FM08.......in my opinion of course!)

I think FM 07 was awesome and i didnt even see a reason to get 08 because of that. Ordered 09 now and hope it to be better. The demo looked rather good.

FM06 for me. Played the game to death, got to 2023 with my Barcelona team and made them unbeatable. FM07 I found too tough because they introduced a more tactical side of the game that I still haven't got used to in FM08. Haven't played FM09 yet, played the demo and found it reasonably good.

you cant beat 3d in 09. I was drawing 2-2 in the Cup final and my left back fired a 30 yard shot into the top corner to win it. Watch the goal in all its glory was awesome. 3D add's so much more excitment that 2D ever did for me.

FM 09 looks promissing and after the patches will be the best. I didn't enjoyed FM 07 or FM 08 that much, the last FM I really liked was FM 06.

Hmm a few people saying 06, cant really disagree, that was an amazing FM.

Nothing beats winning the Champions League with Newcastle on FM 07 for me though

I found FM07 really difficult to get used to at first (coming up from FM05), but I really got into it. That was the best match engine so far in my opinion.

I still play FM08 because the actual non-match gameplay is much improved from FM07. I just go on holiday on most match days because the engine winds me up too much!

Hopefully the match engine for FM09 will be as good as FM07. I'm waiting for Christmas to get it. If there are any problems, they should hopefully have been patched by then (not like FM08!)

Still playing FM 07 (and CM 93/94 >_>).

FM09, then FM07, then FM08. FM08 comes just above CM4 but below CM3 in terms of my enjoyment of a game in this series. Its the only time I've ever gone back a version.

Has to be FM 07. It was the first one i properly played, and I remember it being soo fun, with no massive bugs or flaws. Very fun. 08 wasnt really an improvement, and 09 has too many bugs.
