What stats are needed for assistant manager?

What kind of thing do you need?

Personal choice really and it depends at what level your team is .. for really low level teams, I look for Ass Mans with a good eye for players and good coaching skills in one or two areas to make him a worthwhile extra coach and then get however many other coaches in to work around him .. for higher level teams .. again, probably the good eye for a player but then when they have other high stats .. things such as Tactical Knowledge and a broad set if coaching skills.

I've been told Man Management and Tactical Knowledge are key if you take notice of his feedback. But I'm Arsenal and Pat Rice only has 10 for MM and I'm doing fine following his instructions. But as Thunda said if you are a lower league team, higher coaching skills will be better so he can help out with training and cut your wage bill slightly. Plus you're very limited to a small number of coaches at a lower level,

I want a him to have high ratings in use of subs and squad rotation since he is handling my youth and reservs team. I also want him to be a ok tactician and man handler. I do not mind if he has good coaching stats too.

I try to have high MM and good CA and PA judging... discipline and adaptability (for foreigners) are musts for every coaches...

Man managment if you want him to do the press and the team talks. Tactic knowledge if you want him to lead your reserve/u19 team. Good scout stats. Maybe mental coaching. That's about it.
