johnhughthom
This randomly seems to happen with most Steam games, just open Steam and run it from your games tab and it should be OK. edit:whoops, reread your post and see you are doing that-I have no idea whats wrong, I've used Steam for years and never had that happen. Nene_Park_Faithfull
I dont run the game through steam. Run it manually. C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2009 You should then see the FM program there, make a shortcut of it to the desktop, then run it. Luvly Jubly. T4RG4
You dont need to run the game through Steam. I've had the same problem, closing and opening again usually fixes. I tend to run the game direct through FM.exe (which you can find within the Steam folder). Then there is no need to have Steam loaded etc. Hope that helps! Argh! Beaten to it

I did it and then thi came up: "This application has failed to start because saAuditMD.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem". Can anyone help me with this please?
