Younging
the council will not allow the space, do they ever think of building on a new site?
Butters76
yeah you can get new stadium. Not sure if every team can. But at least some can. Guess you need to have lots of money as the board doesn't want to loan too much.

SI Staff Riz Remes Posted November 17, 2008 SI Staff Share Posted November 17, 2008 When you ask the board to expand the stadium, it means exactly what it says. Expanding the current stadium. In most cases, the existing stadiums are at the limit of their expansion capacity, meaning there isn't physical space at the current site to expand the stadium anymore. The board do check the need for a new stadium each year though and if you are drawing in good crowds and the club is financially in a healthy position, then the chances are greater for the board to set the wheels in motion for a new stadium. T4RG4
If they build a new staduim, what stadium model is used? I havent taken much notice of them but I thought I'd seen more than one type? Is there a generic model or do they suit different capacity crowds?
