Is there a chance in the game that because Eduardo from Arsenal broke his leg , that he wont be the same player??

Because for me he has not scored once

I'm playing as Man City and every time I've played Arsenal Eduardo has scored at least one goal against me.

If he's not scoring for you it may be down to your tactics or his moral.

Have you given him time to recover?

I had Rocchi out for a while at Lazio and it took a while for him to get scoring again.

Might be, I let him recover for over a month in the reserves, then matched him carefully a few games before I let him start. He usually gets a rating of 5.7 and never scores.

Thats like Adebayor in my game. It will just be tactics and possibly other moral changing thing you do.

Maybe try criticizing him to the media? It depends on his personality as to the best way to get him to play better.

How do you know how much to criticise him though? I did it with Adebayor and he got upset that I wasnt critical enough!!!

Try being as critical as possible, and then praise him as much as possible, it worked for me, now he has 17 goals in 15 matches.

he was rubbish for me in a few saves i had before this one aswell... it just wasnt working so i sold him... and he went on to become world player of the year or european player of the year or something... i forget.. but he was doing the bizz when i sold him (as he had been in previous saves when sold)

In some cases, a player's injury will diminish his skills and physical abilities. I've gotten messages from my assistant manager telling me the injury will have lasting effect. Rare, but seen it.

Geesh Maran, Bayern got him for an absolute bargain judging by his history!

i've used Arsenal once and he was gash straight after recovary so sold him to Inter for 30mil where he didnt get a game

..in my save he has scored something like 60 goals in 70 international appearances and is a superstar (of course, i havent got the premier league loaded, so maybe the fact that he is not actually 'playing' per-se helped his recovery?)

I thought I was going to sell him but now he's one of my fav players, he has a goal a game ratio for me. great for tutoring as well

It's probably tactic. Eduardo is a fox in the box, a poacher sort of striker and needs chances to finish off. He doesn't create things himself. Of course he'd be great for the AI with the amount of assists Farebgas gets.

Often after a serious injury some real life players are never quite the same player so I think its reasonable to assume that this has been replicated in the game. I still think its your tactics that need adjusted a bit though. Its just an idea but you could look at his attacking mentality and encourage him to be more attacking if necessary which might help him score more goals.
