I have had plenty of clangers, where the goal keeper has just stood there as a ball slowly rolls into the net, or my favourite, when the ball bounces off the crossbar, hits the goalie in the head and goes in Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I would have to say that with the demo the saves weren't that good. However since I've got the game and installed the patch I woud say there has been a major improvement with the goalies with the exception of penalties. With the penalties it seems to me that the goalies just dont dive and just stand still in the middle of the goal. 9 times out of 10 you will score. postal postie Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 i think the keeper animations are brilliant. i've seen the keepers dive full length to bottom corner, top corner, i've seen them palm teh ball over the bar when its hit hard straight at them. it looks pretty good! This weekend Ronaldo passed th ball straight to Stoke's hapless keeper from about 35 yards, directly at him and it sailed in. Realistic. Also, Gomes.
