_PeteG_
Hi, I will be buying the boxed version, probably for Xmas. I wasn't going to bother with Steam but, having read a few threads on here, I'm wondering..... I have two laptops. If I install the game and activate it via Steam on both laptops, does that give me the ability to have one game running that I can pick up on either laptop? Like, having FM running via steam, does it save my game to one of their servers so that I can load it up again from whatever PC I happened to be using next (as long as I have activated FM on that PC)? Thanks for any advice on this one.
Earl_CG
bviously wait for official conformation but, although Valve are working on uploading (the Left 4 Dead demo lets you save game settings in the cloud) I have not seen any indicaton that FM 2009 has this utility (having bought the game on DVD and been a long time Steam user). Limited z0
No, Steam saves it in the same location as FM08 saved game were saved in (My documents > SI > Football Manager 2009 > Games) the only way to use it on the laptop would be get a USB and transfer it each time you save. _PeteG_
OK, thanks all, that's a shame!
Rb
I was actually thinking about the save game issue the other day. I would love to see it in the future where steam can "back up" your save, and then you can recover it from there.
