The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL C:\Windows\System32\SHELL32.dll occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. Turns out my brother had put some program on here that made the computer think it was a Mac, and the patch obviously isn't compatible with Macs. Cheers anyway.
