keane Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 I am using Vista, and got "football manager 2009 has stopped working" message everytime when I try to launch. I noticed that quite a few guys have the same problem. Actually, I figured out..... I am a Chinese living in EU. I installed our games to D:/Games (here in Chinese character)/...., I did the same to FM2009. Suddenly, I think maybe the cause is Chinese character. Therefore I installed to the directory without any Chinese character. Now, at least it can run..... For someone have the similar situation with me, try to install the game in full English directory path.... maybe it can solve.... Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
