Serious Problems

Ive tried downloading the patch and it says unknown licence so therefore it doesnt work, has anybody got another link i could try, also with the patch not working i try playing the game without it and after so long it just comes up telling me about some sound problem and automatically crosses my game off, but when i go to open FM up again it says that its already running, i understand the second problem maybe down to not having the patch, but why doesnt the patch work, im installing it like ive done with previous patches, any help would be very grateful, sorry if this has asked before but if so could somebody point me in the right direction please.
