Playing the game without internet??

After installing the game do you need the internet to play it, i.e (steam)

Or can you then play it without the net?

Yes, you can set Steam to play offline, You can also simply create a link to the fm.exe file in the steamapps folder and run that.

Thanks, how do i create the link, if i go to the fm 09 folder there is nothing much in there unlike fm 08?

Its found somehere in the steam folder

That is flawwed though because without steam running that programme pops up asking for the authorisation code every time i double click on the fm icon, this is stupid, who ever heard of just being able to play a game these days!!!

You still have to activate the game before you can use it. That only means you do not need steam running when playing it.
