A commercial game needs huge efforts done by its own fans

FM has been arguably the best game ever among those soccer manager games, but undeniably, before fans can fully enjoy a "complete" FM series games, we always need to thank to those who spend days and nights working on players profile photos, produce solutions to get rid of grey players and modify the awfully designed color difference in terms of players' abilities display without being paid. Ironically, fans pay for this game, and put tremendous efforts making patches without paid so this premature game can be better.

Well... These issues should not be affecting FM to be the best, but why cannot SI just makes FM like a real commercial game, rather than releases it like a beta version and like FM 08 which finally gets almost perfect over half a year by adding various patches and improvements?

Because of licenses. It's not as easy as finding the pics and including them.

Whilst the testing process has once again failed to prevent some glaring errors from making it into both the data and engine I'm not sure your comment was all that necessary.
