David Tennant 16
Hi, I'm getting the game for Christmas and i was just wondering how much money Man City get?
ComeontheArsenal
I think it's like 200 million or something stupid like that. There certainly splashing the cash in my game, still can't beat me though
Lukaboi
£211m. (09)
David Tennant 16
Also, is it worth getting just for the 2D pitch?
Lukaboi
Not just for the 2d pitch but the other features make it worthwile. (hmmmm)
David Tennant 16
So how much do Chelsea get?
ridley99
man.utd have 27.5 million dont know about chelsea yet
David Tennant 16
If Manu get that much money then surely Chelsea will get about 50-70 M. iirc Manu are in debt?
ridley99
so are chelsea!
O\'Hara_fan
I'll be fair, 27.5 seems a bit low. Spurs spent £69 million, but we'll have about £22 million in this version? We couldn't buy Arshavin for that Chelsea are in debt?! Learn something new everyday.
David Tennant 16
tbh i think 222 M is too large as you can buy a whole squad of decent players for that, i think it should be about 150 M. And i didnt know Chelsea are in debt either.

Glenn Stiemens
Please bear in mind that these transfer budgets take into account the level of spending a club went through during the summer in real life, simply because you start with the players they spent that money on. If we give you then the players and the money back, there wouldn't be much of a challenge would there?
David Tennant 16
Hi Glenn, would you or anyone be able to give me a list with the Transfer funds of the Premiership teams please?
O\'Hara_fan
So we have nowt then Well, apart from the £6 mil profit though.
flameboy
Was a bit surprised pompey had £14.5 million considering how our financial problems are banded around the press so easily..
Bergkamp.10.
Arsenal have about 45 iirc
Vane
Just to confirm Chelsea are in huge debt as a club - £736m -but they're solvent because they have a billionaire backer. If he were to go then they would be in real trouble. Man Utd have £764m. Man City - £103m. The Daily Mail published a list of all the believed Premiership debt last month. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1072511/Its-crunch-time-Hammers-does-club-fare-Premier-League-debt.html
bluejonny94
Man Citys Finances: Transfer Budget - 211m Wage Budget - 2.5 m/190k per player Season Expectation - Success at every level
SI Staff Marc Vaughan Posted November 16, 2008 SI Staff Share Posted November 16, 2008 Will be very interesting to see how things go irl - their backers seem more patient than Chelsea's were initially at least .... how much longer they'll be happy to wait for results though is anyones guess. ridley99
i think it proves the money can buy you big players but it takes a good manager to get the best out of them!
leedsforever
Can someone clear this up for me. Are there finances in FMH2009 - as in the clubs bank balance. Do you just mean their starting transfer budget or have they pulled off a good stunt in adding finances? Thanks in advance.
ridley99
no finances, just transfer budget and wages same as last year
Plymouthdylan
Chelseas Finances are so Bad irl is because they buy Players and then sell them for next to Nothing (Veron etc)
David Tennant 16
No to brag but... At least we have money
bbuullddoogg
Chelsea are technically in debt. But we have no external debt whatsoever. And all debts will likely be written off in time so in practice we're not really in any debt at all.
monkeyboy72
Not sure about Man City but West Ham get £5million. You cant buy a decent Hamburger for that. Just like in real life.
MJGB
i think it proves the money can buy you big players but it takes a good manager to get the best out of them! Like Spurs. Ol' Harry knows how to get the best out of his players. Ramos, not so much
