Dave843 Posted November 15, 2008 Share Posted November 15, 2008 Having bought and downloaded through Steam yesterday, I got the "not connected to internet" message from SoftAnchor. I wasted most of last night and today with softanchor trying the fixes and so on until I gave up. I've just bought the Boxed CD version and will try it when I get home. Does anyone have advice on making sure it works? ideally avoiding softanchor altogether. Will verification through steam do the job, or what is this UniLoc thing? I've got a Steam account that I downloaded the game yesterday with for $54. Before I paid another £27.99. So why did that first one want to use softanchor to authenticate when it was bought through steam (if you can authenticate through steam anyway)? I'm on Vista btw.
