4th Party Activation

I'm confused as to why si/sega would involve a content deliver platfrom like steam and not use its authentication system. This softanchor s**te is useless for games bought on teh scale of FM(i'd be happy to be told wrong, which other major titles have had such demand and no issues on softanchor?)

Why not use steam? (one good choice or so i thought when it was announced - steam has always worked for me even in 3rd party games)

Why not use steam to actually auth the game instead of another 4rd party :fail:, such a palava was made of the bandwidth etc and how it would be so much better then they leave activation to some third rate punks who offer their services for $40/month per product and had obviously never dealt with a product of the popularity of fm D: (or because of their software unpopularity)

- si/sega your not off the hook you still choose the buggers and didn't check/test they had the capability to deal with such on mass activation
