Definitive answer

i'm new on here, but i've been looking round this place since 10am yesterday looking for help. Basically i can't find the definitive answer.

i originally had problems activating (not connected to the net apparently lol), but last night i had steam going on in the background whilst on the net and the next time i went to try and activate it went through to the bit about not being able to run graphics. now i looked at the other thread, i did the divx setup thing, but i can't do the microsoft one because my net has decided to go slow as fook, so it'll take 2hrs 30mins to download. is there a way to skip having to do that, should i unistall and then reinstall the game etc etc
