Homage to the FMH Forum

I hope my game comes tomorrow, I just scanned over the suggested players threads and look forward to writing a couple down if it comes. Like say, another manager in real life says.... "you should look at buying so and so..." friendly recommendations cool.

Have been on PC FM09 literally all day, no probs and good fun for sure. So I came on to PC forum to observe some potential player tips etc and where are they? Hardly visible. All is just abuse threads and dividedness on issues, understandable in certain cases re: activation probs but hey. Luckily installation right first time here. But right now it's war on the PC forum, lots of negativity.

I just thought I would start a thread to praise the FMH forum as without problems surrounding the game, there's always a visible positivity and helpfulness about this forum. Hats off to you all and particularly those who did not choose Asda from which to buy FMH! Speak soon. Keep topping those player threads up!

Very nice thing to say, I don't want to go in the PC section either, would be nice if they could keep to one thread like here, but the PC version is a lot more popular.

I have to say ive being on the pc forum and its like world war 3 over there complaning about the activation code. We have a good little collection of people on here and i always try to help people out the best i can and if not there is always someone who will know the answers.

Hope you be come a regular on here when your game comes from asda like mine!!!!

I used to go on the P.C forum as had that version but will stay on here because it seems less intense and being fairly new to the Handheld (although not yet played it!) it is a good place to get some tips and info on the game, plus we have a good laugh at the same time. No respect for me Jarl as I am still waiting for the game from ASDA as they sent it out yesterday but no doubt 2nd class mail so probably looking at early next week now.

If you look at the rating for fm 09 on amazon it has a overall rating of 1 1/2. Thats becuase of the activation problems

yeah a good little community indeed. for the last two years in particular over on the pc forum, there seems a tendancy to attack SI once any opportunity emerges. ok i can fully understand certain things this time around... with activation issues etc, but there is a lot of space on the forum occupied by people b-tching etc.

imagine for FM2010 hint hint, if us like minded managers could compete in Infrastructure mode FMH, you know over the internet, big multiplayer game or even online 2 player. i wonder if this would be possible in next or subsequent version. probably a complicated thing to program i guess...

It could be possible if PSN was introduced into Fmh10 If thats right

Online mode would definatly be something I would like too see. I'd love to play against some of the people of this forum, or people I know, we'd have some good competitions!

yes this is an amazing forum to be part of we all work togther as a team to get things done we know who we can rely on to do certain things and who to turn to for help. Ive also found the SI seem to take a lot of notice on what we post here e.g ideas etc. prefer FMH to FM anyday! id say i prefer old xbox FM to PC FM!

we all do our little bit on the forums and work as a team on here.

I do the updates, bergkamp does the logos, ridley helps updating the stats of players and everyone else helps where they can.

also my update should hopefully be out on tuesday night as i havent got the game yet and i need to check the update to make sure its working fine.

yes i agree with all the posts, and that is productive for us and SI and for those who join as newcomers which offers to fulfill further their experience with the game. hence the term community. oh well, hat's off to you. im a few mins away from officialising myself with 09. cannot wait.
