Uninsalling Steam

Installed the game earlier after many attempts, finally got it working, have since gone out of the programme and am now being told my user code has already been activated. I want to uninstall to try again but can't seem to find a way of uninstalling it on Steam. Any ideas? Apologies if there is already a thread but there are so many to wade through.
