I understand your frustration, but how could it take you 5 hours to download the update?

If You Are Using Vista Look In Your Games Section (Where Solitair Etc... Are Found)

Or Browse Your Computer, Program Files, Sports Interactive, Football Manager 2009, And Then The Application fm09

Right Click And Create Shortcut And Then Copy It To Your Desktop For Future

thanks for your help it seems to be working fine on my laptop now.

however i'm now having problems downloading it on my home computer, i don't seam able to download steam onto the computer, it seams to download fine, but when i go on to it an error message appears saying i'm missing some .dll files.

i got steam working on my laptop fine so i thought i would try moving these files on to my pc. But when i try opening steam now it tells me i can only open one copy of steam at a time. i'd be grateful for any help.
