Evon
If so, that's an incredibly stupid and selfish move. It means to find out if we can even play the game we'd need to buy it. Ridiculous. You're just forcing more people down the pirating route rather than the opposite. The reasons for the DRM are also incredibly weak and pretty stupid. gaz0111
We'll have to wait a few days before the demo patch I think. Best to just sit tight until then. And as for the DRM, it was put in place to prevent piracy and whatever has gone wrong will be sorted out. I understand it has angered people but piracy needs to be stopped. Evon
Is this going to stop piracy? No. We expect that eventually the game will be pirated. Unfortunately, piracy is a hard fact in our industry. What we have attempted to do here is create a system by which legal users can get the utmost flexibility to use and play the game in a fair manner. We believe that by putting the hard work into providing a generous 5 computer seat policy and the ability to administer your licenses yourself that most people will not feel the need to pirate the application or put their computers at risk by downloading copies from torrents and will purchase a legitimate copy. Not according to them.
